If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. About DocBD<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DocBD is an online doctor directory for Bangladesh. We help patients and visitors discover publicly available information about doctors, specialties, chamber locations, hospitals, visiting hours, and related professional details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DocBD is an information and directory platform. DocBD is not a hospital, clinic, medical chamber, emergency service, telemedicine provider, appointment guarantee service, or medical advice provider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. No medical advice or emergency service<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Information on DocBD is provided for general directory and informational purposes only. It should not be treated as medical advice, diagnosis, treatment guidance, emergency instruction, or a substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare professional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Patients and visitors should independently verify chamber details, availability, fees, qualifications, appointment rules, and visiting hours before making a decision or travelling to a chamber or hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a medical emergency, users should contact local emergency services or visit the nearest appropriate healthcare facility. DocBD should not be used for emergency communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Directory information and accuracy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DocBD may collect, organise, receive, review, and display doctor-related information from public sources, professional directories, hospital or clinic listings, user submissions, doctor submissions, authorised representatives, and other sources we consider relevant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We work to keep information accurate and useful, but we do not guarantee that every profile, chamber location, phone number, designation, degree, specialty, visiting hour, or hospital affiliation is complete, current, verified, or error-free at all times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Users should report incorrect or outdated information through the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/docbd.org\/portal\/update-removal-request\/\">Update \/ Removal Request<\/a>&nbsp;page or the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/docbd.org\/portal\/contact\/\">Contact<\/a>&nbsp;page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Doctor accounts and profile claims<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Doctors may create an account, submit a new profile, claim an existing profile, request updates, or use available dashboard features. Creating an account or submitting a claim does not guarantee approval, publication, verification, ranking, advertising placement, or continued display on DocBD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DocBD may review, approve, decline, merge, edit, hide, remove, or request clarification for submitted or claimed profiles. We may require identity, authorisation, or supporting information before approving a profile claim or applying sensitive changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Doctors and authorised representatives are responsible for ensuring that submitted information is accurate, lawful, professional, and not misleading. This includes names, titles, degrees, designations, specialties, chamber details, contact information, images, and any claims made about experience, services, or affiliations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. User submissions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When you submit information to DocBD, you confirm that you have the right or authority to submit it and that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You grant DocBD permission to review, edit for formatting, publish, store, display, index, update, and use the submitted information for operating and improving the directory and related services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DocBD may reject or remove submissions that appear false, incomplete, abusive, promotional in a misleading way, unauthorised, unlawful, irrelevant, harmful, or inconsistent with the purpose of the platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6. Profile Management service<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DocBD may offer a paid Profile Management service for doctors who want ongoing profile support. This service may include dashboard access, editor-assisted update requests, profile review, correction support, and related profile maintenance features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Profile Management does not guarantee patient enquiries, appointments, search ranking, advertising placement, medical credibility, professional endorsement, or any specific business outcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Requests submitted through Profile Management remain subject to review. DocBD may decline or modify requested changes where information appears inaccurate, unverifiable, misleading, inappropriate, or inconsistent with the platform&#8217;s standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">7. Advertising and paid placements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DocBD may offer paid advertising or profile placement opportunities on selected specialty, city, or category pages. Advertising availability may be limited, reviewed manually, and subject to approval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Paid advertising or placement does not mean that DocBD recommends, ranks, certifies, or endorses a doctor over other doctors. Advertising placements should be understood as paid promotional visibility and may be labelled accordingly on the platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DocBD may decline, pause, remove, or limit advertising that is misleading, inappropriate, unverifiable, conflicts with platform standards, creates patient confusion, or may harm trust in the directory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">8. Payments, invoices, and activation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some services may require payment before activation. DocBD may generate invoices or payment instructions for Profile Management, advertising, or other paid services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A service is not considered active until DocBD confirms the payment and approves the related request. Payment alone does not guarantee approval of a profile, update, claim, advertising slot, or specific placement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Users are responsible for providing correct invoice references, transaction details, and contact information when requested. Delays may occur if payment details cannot be matched or verified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">9. Refunds and cancellations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Refunds, cancellations, or service adjustments may be reviewed case by case. Unless a written agreement states otherwise, paid services are generally non-refundable after activation, approval, or delivery of the related service period or placement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If DocBD declines a paid request before activation, we may offer an alternative, adjustment, credit, or refund where appropriate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">10. Acceptable use<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You agree not to misuse DocBD. This includes, but is not limited to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Submitting false, misleading, defamatory, abusive, or unauthorised information<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Impersonating a doctor, clinic, hospital, patient, representative, or DocBD team member<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Using the platform to harass, threaten, defame, or harm another person or organisation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attempting to access accounts, systems, data, or administrative areas without permission<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scraping, copying, reselling, or bulk extracting directory data without written permission<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Uploading harmful code, spam, malware, automated submissions, or disruptive content<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Using DocBD in a way that violates applicable law, professional rules, or platform trust<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">11. Account security<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Users are responsible for keeping account login details secure and for activities that occur under their account. If you believe your account has been accessed without permission, contact DocBD as soon as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DocBD may suspend, restrict, or remove access where we believe an account is being misused, compromised, used without authorisation, or used in a way that may harm the platform or other users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">12. Intellectual property<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The DocBD name, branding, platform design, software, database structure, page layout, written content, and related materials are owned by or licensed to DocBD, except where third-party content or user-submitted information is identified or implied.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You may use DocBD for personal, professional, and informational purposes in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, sell, or exploit substantial parts of the platform without written permission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">13. Third-party links and services<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DocBD may contain links, references, or information related to third-party hospitals, clinics, chambers, map services, payment providers, websites, or other services. DocBD is not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, policies, or actions of third parties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">14. Privacy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our collection and use of personal information is described in our&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/docbd.org\/portal\/privacy-policy\/\">Privacy Policy<\/a>. By using DocBD, you also agree to the handling of information described there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">15. Service availability and changes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DocBD may update, change, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of the platform or service at any time. We may also update workflows, pricing, approval rules, advertising rules, profile display rules, or account features as the platform develops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We aim to maintain reliable service, but we do not guarantee that DocBD will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or free from technical errors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">16. Limitation of liability<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DocBD and its owners, team members, editors, contractors, and partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or business losses arising from use of the platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DocBD is not responsible for patient decisions, doctor availability, medical outcomes, appointment issues, travel costs, communication failures, outdated third-party information, or reliance on directory information without independent verification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">17. Indemnity<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You agree to indemnify and hold DocBD harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses arising from your misuse of the platform, unauthorised submissions, false information, breach of these Terms, violation of law, or infringement of another person&#8217;s rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">18. Termination or restriction of access<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DocBD may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to accounts, submissions, paid services, or platform features if we believe these Terms have been violated or if continued access may create risk for the platform, doctors, patients, or the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">19. Governing law<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute should first be raised with DocBD in good faith so the matter can be reviewed and, where possible, resolved informally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">20. Changes to these Terms<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">DocBD may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of DocBD after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">21.
