How Doctor Advertising Works
- Contact DocBD with your preferred city and specialty/category.
- Choose quarterly or yearly advertising.
- DocBD checks availability and profile suitability.
- If available and approved, DocBD confirms the sponsored priority and issues an invoice.
- Your sponsored placement starts after payment confirmation and priority assignment.
Pricing
Advertising is priced by sponsored priority for one city plus one specialty/category page. Quarterly pricing is higher compared with yearly pricing, so yearly advertising offers better value.

Availability must be confirmed by DocBD before an invoice is issued. Sponsored priority controls the order between active sponsored profiles; if no higher-priority sponsored profiles are active, a lower-priority placement may still appear first.

Each city plus specialty/category page can have up to 5 sponsored positions. Sponsored profiles are shown above organic results and are clearly labeled. Advertising does not affect organic ranking and does not imply that one doctor is clinically superior to another.
- Advertising is available only for approved doctor profiles.
- An active DocBD Profile Management subscription is required before applying.
- Each sponsored placement is tied to one city plus one specialty/category page.
- Maximum 5 sponsored positions are available per city plus specialty/category page.
- Sponsored cards must be clearly labeled as Sponsored or Ad.
- Advertising does not guarantee appointments or patient outcomes.
- Advertising does not change organic ranking.
- A doctor cannot hold more than one active sponsored placement on the same city plus specialty/category page.
- Doctors may request a preferred priority, but final assignment depends on availability and DocBD approval.
