For Doctors
Patients searching DocBD by specialty and city can find your profile without knowing your name. They can see your qualifications, chamber locations, visiting hours and appointment numbers, then call your chamber directly. DocBD takes no commission or share of your consultation fee. You can edit your details from your account, free, as often as you need. An editor checks changes before they appear, usually within 24 hours. Claiming an existing profile is free. A new profile costs 500 BDT once, paid after you submit your details, with no annual renewal fee.
DocBD is a doctor directory built to help patients find doctor information. Some profiles are created from public or submitted information. If a profile belongs to you, you can claim it so DocBD can review and link it to your doctor account.

It depends on how you got here. If DocBD already has a profile for you, claiming it is free and stays free. If you are not listed yet and create your own profile, it is 500 BDT, once, paid after you fill in your details and never before. Your listing then stays for as long as DocBD runs, with no renewal and no yearly charge, and editing it yourself is always free.
No. Adding a hospital, clinic or diagnostic centre is free, and it stays free. DocBD charges a doctor for a profile, not for the place they sit in. If your chamber is somewhere DocBD does not list yet, tick “My hospital isn’t listed” while you fill in your profile and give the name, address and phone, and an editor adds it. A hospital or chamber can also write to hello@docbd.org and ask to be added. Either way it costs nothing, and it never changes what your profile costs.
Not as a standing arrangement. We change a doctor’s details only for that doctor, and an email does not tell us who is writing, so claiming is how we know it is you. If you write to us about your own profile we will usually make the first correction for you as a courtesy, then ask you to claim it before the next one. Claiming is free and you do it once. After an editor checks it, you can correct this and anything else from your dashboard, as often as you like, at no cost. The Update / Removal Request page is for people who are not the doctor: reporting an error on someone else’s profile, or asking DocBD to take a profile down.
Profile Management is an annual service that helps keep your DocBD profile accurate. You can request updates through DocBD, and an editor can prepare the update for review. If you prefer, you can also submit changes yourself from your dashboard.
No. You can send the update details to DocBD, and an editor can prepare the profile update for review. Self-service update submission remains available for doctors who prefer to submit changes themselves.
Profile Management is 1,000 BDT per year.
