DocBD aims to keep doctor profiles accurate, useful, and respectful for both patients and doctors. If you believe a profile contains outdated, incomplete, incorrect, or sensitive information, you can request a review.
This page is for one-time correction, update, and removal requests. Doctors who want ongoing profile support, editor-assisted changes, and dashboard access can use DocBD Profile Management.
What you can request
- Correct outdated chamber, hospital, phone, address, visiting hour, designation, degree, or specialty information
- Add missing profile details when the information can be reviewed and verified
- Report duplicate, mismatched, or incorrectly assigned profile information
- Request removal or hiding of a profile, subject to identity or authorisation review
How to submit a request
Please send your request through the contact form or email us at hello@docbd.org.
To help us review the request properly, please include:
- The doctor profile URL, if available
- The doctor’s full name and specialty
- The exact information that should be corrected, added, or removed
- Your relationship to the doctor or organisation
- Any reliable reference, document, or official source that supports the request
- Your contact details so we can ask for clarification if needed
Please do not submit the Enlist Doctor form for a simple correction to an existing profile. The contact form or email route is clearer and easier for our team to track.
Profile removal
If the doctor listed on a profile, or an authorised representative, requests removal, DocBD will promptly remove or temporarily hide the profile from public view once the request can be reasonably verified.
Verification is required to prevent unauthorised, false, or fraudulent removal requests. DocBD may ask for basic confirmation of identity or authorisation before removing or hiding a profile.
Please include the profile URL, the doctor’s full name, your relationship to the profile, and a reachable contact method so we can process the request correctly.
Who can request changes
Correction requests may be submitted by the listed doctor, an authorised representative, a clinic, hospital, institution, or someone who has found an accuracy issue while using DocBD.
Removal requests should come from the doctor listed on the profile or an authorised representative. DocBD may ask for confirmation before removing or hiding a profile.
Review process
All requests are reviewed before changes are made. A request does not result in an automatic update or removal.
During review, DocBD may:
- Update the profile if the corrected information can be reasonably verified
- Ask for clarification or supporting details
- Decline requests that appear inaccurate, misleading, abusive, or unauthorised
- Remove, hide, or limit profile information where appropriate after review
For doctors who need ongoing updates
If you are the doctor listed on the profile and you expect future changes to chamber details, visiting hours, contact information, workplace, designation, or profile content, DocBD Profile Management is the recommended option.
Profile Management allows doctors to request editor-assisted updates after review, while also keeping self-service dashboard options available for doctors who prefer to submit changes themselves.
Processing time
Most requests are reviewed within a reasonable timeframe. Some requests may take longer when verification, clarification, or authorisation is required.
