DocBD lists more than 6,000 doctors in Bangladesh. Most of those profiles were put together by our editors from public hospital and chamber information, so yours may already be here. Search your own name first: if we already have you, claiming it is free, and editing it afterwards is free too.

Why create a profile on DocBD?
A patient looking for a doctor in your city may not know your name yet. They search for your specialty instead. DocBD appears on Google’s first page for most of these searches and also in Google’s AI summaries. When those patients come to DocBD, your profile lets them see where you practise, when you see patients and which number to call.
Patients find you without knowing your name
Your profile appears on your city and specialty pages. A patient browsing for a doctor can find your name and qualifications there, even if nobody has referred them to you.
Patients call your chamber directly
Your appointment number is on your profile, so patients can contact your chamber to book. DocBD takes no commission and no share of your consultation fee.
Update your profile yourself, free
New chamber, new qualification or different visiting hours? Update your profile from your account whenever your details change, at no charge. An editor checks updates before they appear, usually within 24 hours.

Search first, because a second profile for the same doctor only makes work for both of us. If nothing comes up, write your own.

Claiming a profile we already have is free. Adding yourself is 500 BDT, once. The other two are optional, and you can leave them alone.

Three things worth knowing
Use an email you read
We send a confirmation link, and we need it confirmed before we can hand a profile to you. Invoices and the go-live notice go to the same address.
Have your BMDC number ready
Accurate BMDC and contact details let an editor check your request properly, which is what keeps the wait short.
Everything is reviewed
Claims, new profiles and later edits all pass an editor before anything changes in public. That is the reason patients trust what they read here.
Something on your profile is wrong
If it is your own profile, claim it and put it right yourself. We change a doctor’s details only for that doctor, and claiming is how we know it is you. It costs nothing, you do it once, and after that the profile is in your hands.
